GreenPower Motor Company makes purpose-built heavy-duty, all-electric medium- and heavy-duty vehicles to serve the delivery and cargo market, shuttle and transit space as well as school buses. Its proprietary EV Star Cab and Chassis allows for multiple upfits or bodies and sets the standard for emission-free transport of people and goods. GreenPower provides low-floor electric buses to transit authorities. They include a 30ft, 40ft, and double-decker EV550.

GreenPower is working with Perrone Robotics to integrate Level 5 autonomous driving into the EV Star, which will be the first to have this feature. Contrary to the majority of autonomous vehicles in use that have been modified or upgraded GreenPower's EV Star has been designed with autonomy right from the beginning. Clean-sheet design allows for the integration of autonomous drive technologies in the future. GreenPower's EV Star comes in both diesel and battery-electric versions. The latter offers an endurance of up 150 miles on one recharge. It also has a high payload capacity to accommodate a wide variety of body designs and configurations. It can be customized to fit a wide variety of applications, including paratransit, vanpool and employee shuttles. GreenPower already produces ten EV Stars every month and plans to increase production in response to the demand. This will enable GreenPower to offer the lowest total cost of ownership for its customers.
